The routine
What changes, and when
Timelines describe a typical routine, not a guaranteed outcome. Pigmentation responds differently to different skin, and sun exposure without SPF undoes progress. For melasma or pigmentation that does not shift, see a dermatologist.
Description
A pH-balanced cleansing bar for dullness, uneven tone and body
pigmentation. Rice water, coconut oil, almond oil and kojic acid,
in a formula that cleans deeply without stripping.
Mild enough for daily use on all skin types. SLS free, paraben free,
silicone free.
How to use
Step 1 — Wet and lather. Moisten your skin and the soap, and rub gently to create a rich lather.
Step 2 — Massage gently. Apply over the body and massage in circular motions for thirty to sixty seconds.
Step 3 — Rinse and pat dry. Rinse thoroughly and pat skin dry. Follow with a body moisturiser.
Daily use.
What to expect
A wash-off product has less contact time than a leave-on one, so body tone changes gradually. Softness and the absence of post-shower tightness show immediately; tone takes weeks.
Body pigmentation on areas that see sun — forearms, neck, upper back — needs sunscreen there too, not just on the face.
Patch test before first use. If irritation persists, stop and see a dermatologist.
FAQs
Who is this for?
Dry, normal, oily, combination and acne-prone skin. Men and women.
Can I use it on my face? It is formulated for the body. Use the Kojic Acid Face Wash on the face.
Will it dry my skin? It is pH balanced and SLS free, so it should not. Moisturise after, as with any cleanser.
Does it help with melasma? It supports the look of uneven tone. Melasma is a medical condition — see a dermatologist.
